Define: Sustainability

"After all the research, our definition of sustainability means maintaining a good community state for a long period of time. It is also about living within the means of the natural systems by ensuring that the lifestyles we have do not harm other people and the environment.

Case Study: Solar Park South / Jaramillo-Azuero Arquitectos

Living sustainably is about living within the means of our natural systems (environment) and ensuring that our lifestyle does not harm other people (society and culture).

The design team proposed education as the means of sustainability for the future.

Concept
Green education is one of the known renewable energies that is very efficient and is one of its kinds. It is capable of regenerating infinitely and most importantly does not produce harm to the environment.

On the contrary, the energy is an infinite supply of knowledge from one person to another. Also, the wide extensions coverage of the areas is able to create a massive social, economic and environmental progress. (The three factors also make up the pillars of sustainability)

The improvements made to the park encourage public to play a part in transforming the site into a more environmental sustainable place by planting vegetation. It also creates an intervention public space that belongs to everyone, and which the growth of the place will be in relation to the appropriation of an individual act.

On top of that, this will help to contribute to the economy when they sell their vegetation.

Green Education
There are 3 goals to achieve green education.

Firstly is the tunnel which is connected throughout the multi-mobility circuit that consequently protects the natural reserve and also educate the public.

Secondly, using huge area of territory to empower education approaches and also implementing reproduction of native vegetation as main design strategy.

Lastly, making use of the highway as detonator to solve conflicting topics, such as renewable energy technologies, mobility systems and economic development.
